A poem about anti-bullying

The Boy who wore RED
Once upon a time,
There was a boy who wore red.
This wasn't considered normal,
And soon it got into his head.

The mockers looked upon him,
Down ignorant little noses.
Called him names, scoffed at him,
Compared each others proses.

The boy became disjointed,
Felt shame for who he was.
His joy for life was swallowed up,
He was but at a loss.
Until one day he realised,
There's nothing wrong with red.
He proudly bore it on himself,
No matter what anyone said.

In time the mockers envied him,
They wanted to wear red.
And so their minds were opened up,
And tolerance was bred.
