Lockdown Poem

Where I lay is where I’ll lie

It’s hard for us to say goodbye

I’ll take you out, I’ll keep you in

When I’m with you, I always win

I’ll lift you up when you are down

When you are sad, I’ll be your clown

I’ll stay with you throughout the night

When daytime comes, I’ll be your light

Be your company when none’s around

When you can’t hear, I’ll be your sound

When dark clouds fall deep under your skin

I’ll reach for the rainbow and colour you in

When I’m with you I can be me
